The team at Cotebrook Village Hall hope that you are all keeping safe and well during these demanding times. Whilst the government suggested that it was in order for Public buildings to re-open we felt that, for everyones’ safety, it was prudent to delay matters a little and see whether there were going to be any adverse developments as things were relaxed. As the UK continues to try, so far as is possible, to get back to normal we have been working hard to devise a system and put in place practises to ensure that as the hall re -opens it is safe for all visitors.
We are pleased to announce that from 1st September 2020 Cotebrook Village Hall will re-open its doors enabling all hirers and tenants to recommence their classes and activities. We have undertaken a thorough Risk Assessment and have shared this with all hirers, to enable them to prepare their own assessment of how best to deal with issues and organise their own events.
We can assure you that a thorough programme of cleaning has been prepared. We do hope that you will feel confident enough to reattend activities and support event organisers as they try to get their classes and businesses back to normal. The government have outlined that the wearing of face masks is compulsory within enclosed public buildings, although there are exceptions in certain circumstances and you should liaise with your class or event organiser directly to see in what way your event is affected.
We are sure that you will do whatever you can to assist to ensure that you and your friends remain safe. We look forward to welcoming you back and to returning to a full programme of events in due course.
