On Saturday, January 29th, Cotebrook Village Hall organised a very successful Traditional Burns Night Supper, in conjunction with J & C Bars and Catering.
Those attending enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal prepared by the wonderful chef, James Allen.
The evening commenced with a local Scotchman, Walter Gibson, resplendent in his kilt saying The Grace Selkirk Grace. A little later he accompanied on the fiddle, the Parade of the Haggis. Another Scotchman, equally resplendent, in his kilt, Tom Livingstone addressed and toasted the Haggis. He also read a selection of Robbie Burns poems.
Cotebrook Village Hall Management Committee would wish to thank all who supported the event, with particular thanks to James, Charlotte and their team in ensuring the evening ran so smoothly.
